Plagiarism Policy
Copying and stealing someone’s work, ideas or thoughts by the author is known as plagiarism. Without any references to the author’s own previous work or use of some chunks from his/ her previous publication will also come under the heading of plagiarism as self-plagiarism.
We do not entertain the manuscripts which have a large amount of copy paste data. Minor plagiarism is allowed in the manuscripts as sometimes the author uses definition or introduction from the previous publication without any unfair intention. Any case of plagiarism is judged by the journal editors on its own merits (it can be through their knowledge or by going through the literature).
The uniqueness of any manuscript (which is submitted) is checked through CrossCheck iThenticate which is a service to support the editors. The submitted manuscript has to go through the CrossCheck database for scanning.
Scanning process is done before the review process in which the manuscript is scanned for plagiarism.
The manuscript is sent back to the author if the plagiarism is significant. The author needs to look for the changes in the manuscript for less percentage of plagiarism and then resubmits the manuscript.
Demand from the editor
For any case, you find regarding plagiarism, it is requested from the editors to kindly share the maximum possible information to the editorial office like journal name, volume number, year of publication, manuscript title, and issue number or any other relevant information. Required action will be taken against such cases.
