The Ethical standards of some responsible human experimentation needs to be followed by the author while experimenting on any human being. In absence of any formal ethical committee, the author is bound to go with the Helsinki Declaration as revised in 2013. Any uncertainty regarding the research for not being according to Helsinki Declaration, it is the responsibility of the author to explain the basis of the methodology and prove that the institutional review body clearly approved the uncertainties in the study.
Without the consent of the patient, the personal information regarding the patient or the hospital (like names, initials, identity or the hospital details) used in the process of research cannot be disclosed until and unless it is really essential for the scientific purpose. For the publication, the written permission or consent should be obtained and the patient must be informed that the related data might be available on internet or in printed form after the publication. In journal’s instructions for the authors, the need of informed consent is included. Indication of obtaining the informed consent should be specified in the published article.
